The Knowledge Factory

Langstone Park is part of a national network of UK science parks with over 1.7m sqft of office, laboratory and manufacturing space. Together this network encompasses more than 180 science and innovation businesses in a network called the Knowledge Factory.

The companies across these parks collaborate through regular events and a shared digital collaboration platform and app.

At Langstone Park we pride ourselves on our facilities, and round-the-clock support and commitment to you. It is vital that we understand the needs of your business so that we can create the ideal space to suit your requirements, whether for manufacturing, a laboratory, or an office.

We have top-of-the-line infrastructure to support your business, including:

  • a dual 11 KV electrical supply with 13 substations
  • a total site capacity of 14.6 MVa
  • power and data cabling systems configured to service a 300 plus desk call centre and extensive multi-carrier fibre connectivity. We support a telecoms service covering 3,000 extensions, with a capacity of up to 8,000
  • a team of experts on hand, including engineers, draftsmen and technicians, to support you
  • five loading areas with space for two 40 ft lorries to unload at once
  • 43,078 m2 of workspace that can be configured to deliver flexible Grade A property solutions for office, call-centre, R&D, technology, data centre and manufacturing occupiers
  • high-bandwidth data and diverse power supplies

We provide flexible workplace solutions to start-ups, SMEs and corporate offices, with options ranging from 100 sq. ft. serviced offices to 100,000 sq. ft. bespoke space.

We provide full project management support for your relocation or expansion, including space customisation for laboratories, manufacturing and warehousing.

Available space ranges from 1,000 to 50,000 sq. ft. (93 to 4,645 m2)

Data centres

Data centres

Langstone Park has a team of experts on hand, including engineers, draftsmen and technicians, to support you. The park also has excellent infrastructure to support the installation and running of data centres, including:

• high level of power available via two separate power supplies coming onto site (16 MvA power combined)
• uninterrupted power on site
• power is on site as two separate rings so they do not affect one another
• occupiers can have their own backup power, dedicated power or generator on site, and we have the space and the expertise to support our occupiers
• ability to have self-contained/dedicated cooling in your premises
